The data needs to be separated into column's, to identify the individual fields.
Separation of data in a text file is accomplished by one or more delimiters. The delimiters can be chosen at the top by checking the checkbox options in the Delimiters segment. You can also add a custom delimiter in the "other" textbox.
The Information segment indicates what type of data is being imported.
The separated data is shown at the bottom in the data preview segment. The data in this preview is editable. Rows can be Added or Deleted. Individual values can be edited. At the bottom of the Data Preview is the Data Preview Navigator bar which you can use to edit, delete and add data rows.
