Dock Panels

 
 
Dock panels can be docked to a form or to other dock panels using drag and drop operations. A panel can be docked to another panel or it can float. A panel's caption allows an end-user to drag a panel to a new position and thus perform docking operations on it.

Pin button

1. Pin button
Toggles the dock panel display mode to be visible always or auto hide.

Dock Panel Name

2. Dock Panel Name
Displays the name of the dock panel.

Close button

Closes dock panel. When the panel is closed completely, it can only be made visible again in the View menu.
 

Stacked Dock Panels

 
The dock panels can be docked at any side of canvas or other dock panels.
 
 

Tabbed Dock Panels

 
The dock panels can also be placed in a tabbed state. Double clicking on the tabbed buttons will release the dock panel from the tabbed group
 
 
Clicking on the pin at the top of each Dock Panel will set it to a collapsed (pinned) state. Clicking or moving over it with the mouse will expand it.
