Determines if the quick design pattern will be square or perfectly staggered.

This will add a pattern overlay onto your design.
Your design must have a block outline.
The pattern inside the block outline will have blue holes and grey holes outside the outline.
In this mode you can move the holes only with the keyboard arrow keys.
Ctrl + left / right arrow keys will rotate the pattern.
Pressing crtl + alt will show the displacement  and rotation popup , where you can adjust the values.
When the holes are perfectly placed onto your block, press enter or click on the bottom right popup to accept the pattern.
Once this is done the holes outside the block outline will be removed.
