How to Add a Delay Line

There are 2 ways to enter the "add Delay Line" mode.

1. Use the Add Delay Line menu button located under the Timing Menu.

2. Press the Add Delay Line button in the Delay Line Properties Dock Panel.

Left-click on the drawing canvas to set the starting point of the Delay Line.

Note: The starting point can be on a hole or outside it.

To add points to the Delay Line line, left-click on the drawing canvas on open space or holes. Holes located in between the points in a straight line will be added (snapped) to the Delay Line.

If you click on open space the Delay Line will snap to the nearest hole on the line.

Note: As you go along adding points to the Delay Line, the added holes color dims to indicate that the hole was added to the line. It is recommended that you give the holes a fill color to see the effect clearly.

It is possible to undo / redo steps taken easily by using the Drawing Canvas Popup Menu and select the appropriate option.

Note: The undo / redo popup menu will only appear if you are in the "add Delay Line" mode.

When finished with the Delay Line, double-click on the drawing canvas (open space or hole) to finish the Delay Line.
