How Vector Works

Direction / Angle

Vector allocates timing to holes relative to their position to the Vector object. When adding a Vector object the direction line(Dotted Line) indicates the new axis direction(Angle).

Y will be at the Top of the new axis.
X will be at the Right of the new axis.
-Y will be at the Bottom of the new axis.
-X will be at the Left of the new axis.

How timing is allocated.

Vector timing is allocated by the Y,X,-Y,-X burden response values and the hole position.

In the example to the left the Y burden respons is 10 ms(per meter) aswell as the X burden response. The hole position is 8 meters in the Y direction and 5 meters in the X direction.
Timing = (Y Burden Response * Y Distance) + (X Burden Response * X Distance)
           =(10*8)+(10*5)
           =(80)+(50)
           =130
