To add a line of holes you must be in add line of holes mode.
Go to the menu and Left-Click on the "Add a Line of Holes" button.
The select pattern designview will appear, and you must select the pattern design to allocate to the line of holes.
Now that you are in the correct mode, to add the line of holes is a 2 click operation.
First left-click is to set the line starting point.
While moving the mouse you will see the holes being added / subtracted automatically to the line. This depends on the length of the line and the spacing of the chosen pattern design.
The second mouse left-click will add the line of holes to the design. Unlike the other user modes, after the second left-click the mode will be changed to the default arrow mode.
Note : Make sure the the mouse is not inside the last hole when doing the second mouse click. If so the holes will not be applied to the design, move the mouse outside the hole and click again.
